Scarlet the Dog needs a home
Scarlet is as sweet as she is beautiful She has a bit of an under bite, big eyes and a red nose which gives her an interesting look. To us, she is as beautiful as she can be and she knows it too. Scarlet loves to be pet, sit by your side or take a ride. Anything that involves her person, she is happy. She does great with other dogs and with people. She is around 2-3 years old. She came to the rescue with 2 pups. We are guessing if there were others, they died due to starvation. They were dumped out in the woods, left to fend for themselves. Scarlet still let her pups nurse even though they were old enough to be weaned. She saved them but it took a toll on her. She is fat and happy now though and her pups went to live in the Chicago area. Scarlet is waiting for her turn to get a new home. She is a great girl.
